Author Guidelines

1. General Information

Strategic Foresight is a peer-reviewed journal published by The Indonesian Futures Insight. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and conceptual studies in the fields of Business, Law, and Technology. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

All manuscripts should be prepared carefully following these guidelines before submission through the Online Journal System (OJS).

2. Language

Manuscripts can be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Authors should ensure clarity and proper academic language. Articles in Bahasa Indonesia should follow Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (EBI) rules.

3. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be written using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format, in A4 paper size, 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman, font size 12, with margins of 2.5 cm on all sides. The recommended length is 4,000–8,000 words.

The manuscript should contain the following components:

1. Title
   Concise and informative, written in sentence case (maximum 15 words).

2. Author Information
   Full name(s), affiliation(s), and email address of the corresponding author.

3. Abstract
   Written in English (and Bahasa Indonesia if applicable), containing 150–250 words. It should briefly describe the research purpose, method, results, and conclusions.

4. Keywords
   3–5 relevant keywords, separated by semicolons (;).

5. Introduction
   Explains the background, problem statement, research objectives, and theoretical context.

6. Literature Review (optional)
   Presents relevant theories and previous research to strengthen the study framework.

7. Research Method
   Describes data sources, research design, analysis methods, and procedures in detail.

8. Results and Discussion
   Presents the findings clearly and discusses their implications based on theory or previous studies.

9. Conclusion
   Summarizes the main findings, implications, and recommendations for future research.

10. References
    Written in APA 7th Edition style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero. A minimum of 15 recent references (from the last 5–10 years) is recommended.

4. Tables and Figures

• Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and provided with clear titles.

• Images should be in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

• Sources must be stated below each table or figure if taken from another work.

5. Plagiarism Policy

Manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using similarity detection software. Articles with similarity above 25% (excluding references) will be automatically rejected or returned to the author for revision.

6. Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers. The review process generally takes 4–8 weeks. The editor’s decision (accept, revise, or reject) is final.

7. Publication Fee

• Submission: Free of charge.

• Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 500,000 (paid after the article is accepted for publication).

• The fee is non-refundable if the author withdraws the article after acceptance.

8. Copyright and License

All published articles are open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under CC BY 4.0.

9. Ethical Considerations

Authors must comply with publication ethics and declare that their manuscript is free from fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, or unethical research practices.
